Terms & Conditions
These terms are an agreement between you and Vaishnav ("we", "PaySound"), E-199, E-Block, Sushant Lok, Sector 52A, Gurugram, Haryana, India 122002. By installing or using PaySound you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. The service
PaySound is an app that listens to payment-received notifications from the UPI apps you choose and announces them aloud, keeps a record of payments on your phone, lets you keep a khata of customer dues (Gallah), shows reports, creates a UPI QR code and helps you send payment reminders on WhatsApp.
2. Who can use it
You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a contract in India. You must give correct information and keep your phone and login secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
3. Subscription and billing
- Trial: your first subscription starts with a 3-day trial for ₹1, which also sets up your payment mandate. The exact length and dates are shown before you confirm. The trial is offered once per account; if you subscribe again later, the monthly price is charged on the day you subscribe.
- Monthly plan: after the trial, ₹69 (or the price shown at checkout) is charged on the date shown before you confirm, and then every month until you cancel.
- UPI AutoPay: you authorise recurring debits through a UPI AutoPay or card mandate processed by Razorpay. Your UPI app or bank and Razorpay notify you before each debit, as required.
- Cancel anytime: in the app under Settings → Account → Cancel subscription, by revoking the PaySound AutoPay mandate in your UPI app, or by asking us. If you cancel during the trial, the monthly fee is never charged and you keep access until the trial ends. After that, you keep access until the end of the month you have paid for. - Failed payments: if a renewal fails, the service may pause until payment succeeds.
- Price changes: we will tell you in the app before a price change applies to you. You can cancel if you do not agree.
- Applicable taxes, if any, are shown at checkout.
4. Using PaySound responsibly
- Announcements depend on notifications sent by third-party apps and on your phone's settings (notification access, battery settings, volume, speech engine and internet where needed). We cannot guarantee that every payment is announced, or announced on time.
- An announcement is not proof of payment. Always confirm a payment in your UPI app or bank before handing over goods or services. Notifications can be faked or delayed.
- PaySound is not a bank, payment service provider or wallet. We do not hold or move your money.
- Gallah is your own record-keeping. You are responsible for its accuracy and for having the right to store your customers' details. You send WhatsApp reminders yourself; follow the law and WhatsApp's rules and do not harass customers.
- Do not misuse PaySound, reverse engineer it, interfere with our servers, use it for unlawful activity or try to access other people's accounts.
5. Third-party services
PaySound works with services such as UPI apps, Razorpay, Google (Firebase, Google speech engine, Google Play), Truecaller and WhatsApp. Their own terms apply to their services and we are not responsible for them.
6. Our rights and your content
PaySound, its design and content belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app. Your data stays yours; you allow us to process it as described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Suspension and ending
You can stop using PaySound and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms or the law, or to protect other users or the service. Cancelling a subscription does not by itself delete your account, and deleting your account does not by itself cancel your AutoPay mandate.
8. Disclaimers and limits
PaySound is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or loss caused by missed, late or incorrect announcements, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under law that cannot be excluded.
9. Changes
We may update these terms and will tell you in the app about important changes. Continuing to use PaySound after a change means you accept it.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Gurugram, Haryana, India have jurisdiction, subject to any rights you have as a consumer under law.
